On the 24th of September 2020, the Institution gave notice to the Authority that it shall be voluntarily surrendering its licence.
As far from the 1st October 2020 the Institution is not accepting any new business.
As far from the 15th November 2020 the Institution shall cease carrying out all licensable activities of a financial institution.
Until all its obligations are fully discharged, the Institution shall continue to be governed by the Financial Institutions Act and regulated and supervised by the Malta Financial Services Authority.

The MFSA has accepted the Institution’s request and the surrender is entirely voluntary. Accordingly, with effect from 2 March 2022, Mistral Pay Ltd ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
